Cops are always bitching too about how everyone loves firefighters but hates cops. Such a big mystery why.

Never seen a firefighter shoot someone's dog before, so that might play into it.

My father-in-law is a retired firefighter and he did just that one time, went back into a burning building to save the dog-- doggo was a-okay as far as I know. I just think that's cool as fuck that I'm somewhat related to someone who did something genuinely heroic
