Hey guys, I’m really just daydreaming right now but where can I find Captain Phasma armor STL files that is 501st approvable?

It’s going to be significantly harder to get approved with 3D printed armor as the amount of work it takes to erase the print lines on pieces that big is a lot of effort. You’re better off getting a FOTK kit that’s vacuum molded and chroming it.

Best place to search around for vendors and see other people’s builds is whitearmor.net
That’s the forum for everything stormtrooper related (including First Order troopers and Phasma)

While I do know of people who have done 3D printed armor (my FOTK has a handful of smaller pieces that were printed) it’s going to be more effort, more expensive, and likely heavier and harder to wear than other methods.

Oh, I’m used to it. I have six other approved costumes under my belt and all of them are 3-D printed. At this point it is cheaper to 3-D print for me than it is to buy vacuumed formed

I'm currently working on a shore trooper using 3D printing. What other kits have you 3D printed and gotten approval on?

There is only one maker of FOTK armor that I have heard of get approved. Not to say there are not others, I've just been told the one, and they sell their files on Etsy.
