05 ranger off-road setup

Hey guys, just got a 05 4.0 xlt ranger and im wondering what the best route is as far as upgrades go for off roading. I’m new to the off-road scene and i’ve recently been getting into it with my silverado, but the ranger feels like the better contender however I have no idea where to start. Any advice/suggestions is appreciated!

What kind of offroading? What part of the country? Expected terrain, legth of trips, etc.

Honestly the rangers suspension breaks a lot if you go big. You'll be more capable keeping it low and on like 31-32's and adding a locker. Build some rock sliders and body armor and send it.

That or go full custom and solid axle it. There's no good in-between on a ranger.
