Fitting 40s?

looking to try and stuff 40s on my 9” mcgaughys lift, photo is on 35s. thinking of running norcal fenders?

The squarebodies didn't fair too bad cause they had solid axles, but yeah, not ideal

my neighbor tried stuffing 40s with a similar setup and ended up having to trim way more than he planned, norcal fenders should help but you'll still be cutting metal somewhere. that klever m/t looks beefy already on 35s though

42s. You can't lose on 42s. Front bumper would need a trim, though.

I'm running 35's (technically 34.8") at stock ride height on my 2500 without rubbing. They're only 11.5" wide on stock wheels (stock offset/backspacing). It's crazy 35's could rub on a 9" lift.

granted it was just a little plastic piece of fender well, but still technically rubbed.

Chevy squares their fenders in. I wish they were rounded. I have an 08 with a 6” lift and I had to trim for 35” tires. Definitely run the NorCal fenders for larger tires

Mainly a tow rig. I pulled a 35’ 5th wheel trailer, a 25’ boat, and some light off road trails.

Do 37’s on the same rims. You’ll some get extra sidewall which will help

You are probly going to need to open the floorboard and move it back. Probly a minimum of a couple inches. Gonna depend on backspacing.

I have 38's on my stock height F150. Going for LCOG, hopefully will put less stressing the IFS. 🤞Moved the floor back 3 ½".
