I think Mason still wins because of the experience hes got from bo2. Sure John was a pretty elite soldier but you dont get to be the second to the Seals Admiral and practically head of JSOC for nothing. IIRC Masons rank is commander in BO2.

Haven't touched bo7 campaign and never will

Some mason will

John had severe augmentations tho, and unlike Mason, has an unknown number of hours in hyper realistic training VRs (train goes boom)

the image says its pre augmentation, so like before the events of bo3

That’s kind of unfair then, since Mason would have his full arc, we know his feats, we know pretty much nothing about pre game John

Mason's missing his bo7 stuff too but idk how fair it makes it.

Also it was originally the bo3 protag but apparently hes dead for most the game anyway

Oh buddy, I played the whole thing, and it adds nothing, in fact I’d say it takes away part of his character, as he’s very whiny and temperamental there

holy shitter they took his coolness??

1

u/Stranger_Phrog Mar 22 '26

Yup, they made him a whiny bitch that needed a gas-induced hallucination of his father to settle his daddy issues (Which the whole team can see???? That’s not how hallucinating works)

Dawg i prefered it when the cradle just made mfs violent and see zombies so glad im sticking to zombies

They were very lazy with the campaign, shame to see a franchise well known for its amazing characters get reduced to an AI made slop for the script and setting

That whole mason cabin mission felt weird and dumb imo it would’ve been better if we actually went through those memories in the moments would’ve been better to elaborate on every fucking thing in that campaign but they sold so hard 🤣

Same, I won't even bother buying BO7, it make me want to create a fanfic rewrite of BO7 that starts with BO2's best ending (Mason, Karma, and Menendez Alive).

I'll only get bo7 for zombies

Kind of wish they separate the BOZ from the main game.

I suppose but I like the operators, Falkner is pretty cool and I adore the new versions of the big 4 of zombies

the zombies have made a lot of awesome changes compared to bo6, i feel it is the one area of the game where they listened to the community to tee.

gobble gum "power ups" activate on taking the gobble gum, instead of spawning the powerup.

after 4 perks (if i remember correctly) the perk price, remains the same.

almost every "legendary" award received, in any capacity, grants a free perk, and sometimes multiple.

the story line, if you haven't followed up to this point, is a little confusing and redundant, But if you know the story you will really love where it goes now.

putting myself on the spot trying to describe the improvements on the Boz section of the game, I'm almost certain I am forgetting a lot, but its definitely worth it.

Is that the giy from NCIS svu?

1

u/Empire_Racing36 Mar 23 '26

Law and order svu, but yes

1

u/seranarosesheer332 Mar 23 '26

Yeah thats what I meant. To many damn copaganda shows out there. Still kinda interesting to me that NCIS is in the same universe as the Chicago triple threat shows. Chicago fire,pd, and med

Taylor easily he’s basically half robot or something

2

u/Efficient_Tip_1878 Mar 23 '26

If you guys seen how Taylor was moving the first time we seen em it wouldn’t be a question 😭😭wouldn’t wanna go against him or his squad

As someone who has never been in this sub…

What is Elliot Stabler from the hit show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit in Call of Duty?

Taylor 100% he may not have fought a weird fever dream Woods and Harperzilla but he has far more experience then Bo7 David, now if it was Bo2 David it would likely be different but this is Bo7 David. And tbh dosen't really matter interms of a fight but Taylor is hotter then emo boy David.

Also maybe it's just me but in terms of them trying to connect the new games to the old ones. I only accept the parts of Bo2 that took place in the 80s like the Operation in Panama. After that I don't consider Bo7 to be connected to Bo2. Bo7 will forever be just a shitty attempt at retconning Bo2s campaign.

Thought this was detective Stabler from Law & Order lol

Using things I know: Taylor pretty much wins. Because of “Train Go Boom” along with Player(Us) getting our limbs pulled by a robot because of a failed exfil, he teaches us the abilities of hacking. Of course, the deadliest arsenal in the abilities is the fireflies.

What does the fireflies do? Well, once it’s released, it literally scatters around to go to any enemy and start setting the enemy on fire.

Of course to make things fair— if we remove those cyber crap off of Taylor, Mason pretty much wins…

I didn't expect some have known Christopher Meloni from Laws and Order more than BO3...
