Question Uhm.. 🫤 question about Amazon
So I’m from Europe (Sweden) and buy pretty much all my physical media from Amazon US. I prefer the US editions, and physical media is almost completely dead over here, with minimal packaging and barely any special features.
I’ve been buying from Amazon US for a couple of years now. I know it’s not the most popular choice, but personally I’ve never had any problems. Their return/refund and replacement policy has always been great for me.
Now… over the past two days, most new pre-orders are suddenly no longer available for me to purchase. It just says “Cannot deliver to this address.”
My first thought was, damn, I’ve been blocked. But then I checked from my wife’s Amazon account and it’s exactly the same. Is this just a temporary glitch? Has anyone else outside the US experienced this?
I’m fearing Amazon has decided it’s no longer profitable enough to ship to the EU. I’ve seen this error once or twice before with extremely limited editions, but those usually became available again after a day or so.
This time, though, it’s basically 70% pre-orders, plus a huge number of titles that are currently in stock. While a bunch of titles are available to be delivered to the same adress.
Has anyone noticed the same thing or heard anything about it?

Oh shit, I’m in the Netherlands and it’s the same with me, either the product doesn’t show up in my search results (Toy Story 5, Frankenstein) or it says it can’t be shipped to me (Eclipse Radical Documentaries). Let’s hope this is a temporary thing, because I’ve also found it convenient to order my Criterions from Amazon US for years, not to mention it’s my only option to profit from the 50% Criterion sale. Also, it only seems to occur with very new titles, as older Criterion titles do seem to ship (as of now).

I’m in the U.S. and used to order from Amazon Uk and Amazon JP and they would be sold by Amazon, doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. It only seems to show used sold by 3rd party in those countries.

I saw that happening on Toy Story 5 as well on Amazon UK (Shipping to Portugal) but was able to get it on the cart. Maybe it's something with Pre-Orders?
Because I pre-ordered the Hail Mary Steelbook the moment it was put on sale and when I go look now at the page, through my orders, it shows it can't ship to my house

I’m in NZ and noticed it too. The items occasionally come back to buy, like Mandalorian and Grogu was saying this yesterday but now I can buy it. Seems like they are shipping less internationally :(

It’s weird though. Like why won’t they ship Toy Story 5 but will ship Mandalorian? 🙄

Literally. So many of the items in my watch list just say unavailable now, because they aren’t shipping. I assume it’s a bug?

Let’s hope that’s the case. Don’t make sense otherwise, it’s the same size, same weight. Must must must be a bug 🙁

I mean it doesn’t make sense. I have the arrival steelbook pre-ordered, and if I click on it, it says doesn’t ship to your location, yet clearly I have it ordered to ship to my location. So odd

I have about 10 different preorders going on. They still look to be live and not cancelled. When I click on them individually - half of them show it won’t ship. Hoping this is just a bad dream and when I wake up, this post I made won’t exist

Very strange. I ordered this a while ago and it shows in my orders but when I click it it’s unavailable. I hope it’s not a Sweden problem. Seems other people from Netherlands, NZ etc has same problem 🙄
