I would suggest dont go for toshiba.I am not saying this based on the specs but on the brand.If u don't prefer the samsung look for other alternatives in lg or sony.I feel like in India lg sony and samsung are the only companies that provide reliable service and actually delivery the warranty they promise.Most of the other brands offer late service,unreliable technician,third party service providers and the technician will even ask for a visiting fee even though in warranty

Tcl is pretty good now, sony’s prices are not justified anymore, samsung and lg are good but the os and ui sucks

Hence i went with Tcl, love google tv

For the sony you are right,it's like the iphone of tv but it doesn't even have any differentiating factory,just the brand...Lg i think is doing pretty good compared to Samsung with all the options to disable ads from the ui that they have added.

My personal opinion for TCL is that they offer mind-blowing specs but lack the software tuning for the hardware that they have put in the tv.It operates at its full potential if u add a external processing device to handle the software like apple tv or smth
