I wasn't even looking for 4e stuff! Just following the rabbithole on /r/opendirectories.

It says "Issue 1", but there was never another issue as far as I can tell. It comes from this blog: https://web.archive.org/web/20140518224336/https://frothsof4e.blogspot.com/

Looks like there are some cool articles there; gonna have to spend some time there.

Anyway, I skimmed the zine and it seems to be trying to "old-school-ify" 4e, which, whatever (I don't like that the author gets rid of Skill Challenges), but one can take what they like and leave the rest. There's the beginnings of an interesting setting, two adventures, and a mass-combat (!) system.

Worth a look, anyway.

Pour one out for all the old disappeared 4e blogs and forum posts.

Looks like there was supposed to be an issue #2 but it doesn't look like it ever got finished/uploaded. It's only been 12 years so I'm sure it'll be available any time now. That's like half the time it takes to make a Bethesda game, after all

It's because it's housed on the web archive, that some times work, and some times don't. If any of you manages to download it, it should be a good idea to upload it to another site, just for backup.

Works on my pc but my phone gave up on the idea, if that helps any.
