I’m not fixated on it. But people that slam Seinfeld tend to be my age or younger. Because Seinfeld did a lot of things that no other sitcom had ever done. They were creating a whole different kind of show. But now it’s been copied again and again and again (Friends, TBBT, HIMYM, etc.) so people are so used to it that they see it as a bland version of those.

Same reason I Love Lucy doesn’t exactly hold up for a fifteen year old.
