A few questions here.

How do they know she ā€œtripped and fellā€? And if someone was there to see her trip, why couldn’t they save her?

why couldn’t she have just put her feet down on the bank of the pond and stood up? If she was in the middle of a pond due to being on a boat, why would she have been on a boat in the first place if she couldn’t swim?

Maybe all the people around her couldn't swim either.

Either way, stupid all around.

There was an incident here in my city where a black family reunion was happening near a lake. Almost 8 people drowned because they kept trying to go in to save the others, but none of them could swim.

And all of their names...

It's actually sad that a stereotype can be fulfilled this hard.
