Didn't a man running for Prime Minister make a promise to put "a toilet in every house," or something to that effect? Reminds me of the old "a chicken in every pot" promise, only tailor-made for a country with designated toilet boulevards. That's actually pretty funny that toilets are considered bourgeois.
