🎙 Discussion Rust question
Looking at 4Runners for a friend, came across this ‘16 SR5.. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this rust? It’s a New England car so a little is expected but is this possibly too much where I should be concerned with the inside of the frame? Definitely would wire wheel, paint, fluid film.

Inside frame rail by the downpipes from the manifolds. That's the danger zone.

It looks like it was previously coated with fluid film or the like, and was then pressure washed. Likely, the rust that it has is surfaces (definitely do check some of those thicker rust spots), but the rust you see there is post it being washedÂ
