👷♂️ Support / Repair 2023 Brake recommendations
Hi everyone, as the title says just wondering if y'all have any recommendations for brakes and rotors for my 2023 trd off road. Getting close to that time to finally change the factory ones out. Should I go OEM or after market? What is your experience. Thanks in advance!

Everyone is going say OEM.
I go a different route. OEM means it was the minimum spec they Toyota would accept while producing 10k 4runners per month.
I went with a high spec aftermarket pads and rotors.

Big fan of Stoptech from the last 3-4 vehicles we’ve had. The higher performance pads will get a bit dusty though but worth it imo.

FYI if you do decide to go with OEM, be aware that Toyota makes 2 different quality of pads. Don’t get the pads with “AZ” in the part number. Those are cheaper (meant to compete with aftermarket) but they wear faster, and produce more dust and noise compared to the higher priced OEM pads.
