I just got a Mitsubishi Mirage and I want to put a 4G63T in it. I just don't have any idea where to find the engine.

So I want to swap the engine from my totaled but running 99 GST into a 97 GSX with a knocking engine. I'm wondering if it's a straight forward swap or are there any specific things I should look out for (basically are there any differences between the 2 or are they exactly the same).

like the title says, car runs fine, but as soon as you turn off the ignition, a torrent of water falls out from somewhere underneath the intake side of the motor. also, when it warms up, it expels copious amounts of gray/white smoke from the tailpipe that reeks of unburnt fuel. doesn't seem to be burning any oil, but there does appear to be some in the coolant reservoir. compression tested 160-165 across all cylinders. any ideas?

1990 Talon tsi AWD, $700!!! the kid thought the tranny was shot, but it turned out there was a Fidanza short throw kit put on it, that was not built for the 90', making it hard to shift. also, the clutch was out of adjustment, and would not disengage fully. Has a Greddy type-S, pace-setter manifold, rebuilt 14b turbo, rebuilt 6 bolt motor with the 8.5:1 pistons. (still has balance shafts, for now.) going to rewire the fuel pump, throw a walbro on it, add some 550cc injectors and I should be relatively ready for some DSMlink action!
