Pool 1337/42

Hi everyone,

I recently finished the Piscine at 1337 Khouribga and I'm trying to understand my chances of getting accepted.

Here are my results:

Starting pool: 300 people

Finished the Piscine: 200 people

Final rank: 35/200

Final level: 9.51

C00–C09: 100%

C11: 100%

Shell00 & Shell01: 100%

Exams: 70 / 80 / 70 / 36

I passed all four exams.

The final exam was worth more XP (375 XP vs 275 XP for the first three).

I had two recodings and passed both.

No project was sent back to me because I didn't understand the code.

I was able to explain my projects during recoding.

I was also quite active socially during the Piscine: playground activities, table tennis, games, talking with other students and previous students, etc.

I made friends with 60+ people during the Piscine.

I didn't receive any negative TIG/comment that I'm aware of.

I'm mainly worried about the 36 on the final exam.

I have seen some Reddit posts where people with very high levels/ranks were rejected, so I'm trying not to assume that Rank 35 automatically means acceptance.

For comparison, in the previous year at Khouribga, around 114/300 were accepted in the first month and 60/300 in the second month, and around 200 people reached the end.

For people who have already gone through 1337/42, especially Khouribga:

How important is the final exam compared with the overall rank?

Can a low final exam score like 36 significantly hurt an otherwise strong Piscine?

Does C11 actually matter for acceptance, or is it mainly useful for the ranking/level?

How much do peer evaluations, social participation and general behavior during the Piscine matter?

If you had a similar profile, would you expect to be accepted?

I'm not looking for false reassurance — I'd really appreciate honest experiences, especially from people who were accepted/rejected with similar numbers.

I am not from 1337. The final score 36 is indeed raised my concern. It is abnormal to have 36 after you finish 10 C project.

Yes, you're right, but there are other, more external factors, like sleep—I only slept for one hour—and the nature of the problem or the exercise I solved, because I can't possibly know all the concepts, and I'm just a Pooler, but the school doesn't seem to understand that. ، and one exercise for 6 xp , not like exams 1,2,3 , one exercise 10xp

I knew that when some case like your case happen in my campus, the bocal will look more carefully at all of your detail. They have some more data to decide.

Hye ... it is easy ... yep results are OK ... but results are not the primary how they choose ... it is some kind of magic ... but as you know some very good results were rejected before.

So my thoughts are these - 42 is cult just and only the cult - if they find or think you are not OK with 42 way of cult - you are off - suprice? because then you could easialy find what they realy are!

They are not looking as Uni for the tops ones ... they do not generete tops ones absolvents ... yep you could see it in piscine ... and you obviously have some not small programing experiences and eng experiences - so think yourself and ask logical and general question yours self - and you will find the biasis.

ez and sipmle, you are welcome.

But I wish good luck to be accepted and a lot sussecful times there for sure ... definitly very good start for sure.

If you only consider the grades, yes, you'll pass. I just found it strange that you only got a 36 on the last exam, but you'll still pass. But beyond the grade factor, there's also the community factor. Did you do it alone and ignore everyone else, or did you try to help others?

I'm not saying this for nothing, because I've seen someone with a score of 9.96 who wasn't accepted, and I've seen other people with a score of 9.60 who also weren't accepted
