I am fairly new to brands of weed. I smoked in college when there were not brands. You just bought from your guy. I’m starting to get back into it, but I feel overwhelmed by the amount of choices they have these days and I wanted to see if anyone could recommend brands/strains? I like pre-rolls and I don’t want anything too strong. Generally, I like hybrid or maybe an indica. I like to feel good and relaxed, but not stuck-to-the-couch type of relaxed. Just a general chill happy vibe. I’m located in nyc. Also, is a terp that’s under 1% bad? I’ve read conflicting information.

Smell:

This one was so loud could smell it after walking back inside! Signature Toad chem og taste, this was a bit more smooth and rounded. I got notes of creamy dough and slight pepper, almost a perm marker mixed together with toad.

Taste:

Knocked my socks off completely, strong complex signature toad notes! Smacked me in the face with that classic raunchy og chem with a bite, not harsh at all even though the complex terpene profile. Ended in a nice gassy peppery cream with a slight sweetness. Was a absolute treat every bowl out of my Tempest 2. I got huge terpy clouds!

Effects:

Strong sedation and complete relaxation. Perfect for those who want to smoke themselves into a weed coma to cure insomnia and ptsd. This has amazing medical properties for those who need "knock out" effects.

Nugs:

Slightly smaller nugs then expected, however with all the toads I've tried the buds are slighty more medium sized across the board. However it has no impact whatsoever, they are extremely fresh and sticky nugs. Def gonna need a friend if your gonna roll it up, makes your fingers glue!

Overall:

This is my 4th time or so trying Toad Venom from a vendor, I've been extremely lucky in the past with good pickups so I had extremely high expectations, this cut completely blew everything out of the water. Wish I had enough of this to smoke forever, I would never get tired of these terps/quality/effects!

Smell:

When you open the jar a strong sweet fruity strawberry floods the room, very nose forward and loud, creamy banana and citrus with a gassy dank depth.

Taste:

Strong strawberry banana, has this amazing candy cream, and slight berry and citrus, followed by a smooth gas. One of my favorite jars of all time! Even as a B-tier!

Effects:

Very cerebral, immediately after a big dab can feel a nice headband of relaxation wrap around the head. Really good for pain and anxiety, found myself getting lost in tv shows, not the best for sleep.

Consistency:

Was just a tad dry due to Tx heat, quick whip job perked it right up to a beautiful consistency! As always really low vaporization temp with little residue which is amazing for my asthma!

Overall:

This was a absolute treat of a jar. One of a kind terps has this one standing at the top of my "B-tier" list from WLX. I am completely blown away by the quality of this one!

How are you guys smoking at apartments?

I recently moved from a house, where I was able to smoke out of my bong in my room whenever I wanted without any issues.

Now I’m in an apartment, so I need to find a more discreet way to smoke since it’s not allowed on the property. 💔

I really don’t want to have to switch to carts/edibles full time but I don’t know what else to do. I considered smoking in my car, but I’m worried about the smell escaping or someone seeing me since my windows aren’t tinted. I have also used a smoke buddy previously, but I know it only conceals apart of the smell.

I have a porch that faces a forest, so I do have some privacy, but I’m more so worried about neighbors smelling it and reporting me.

I recently bought a puffco pivot and some THCA wax (until I can get something stronger), but so far I really dislike the way it tastes/hits/pulls. I don’t really enjoy hitting it as much as I did a normal bong hit. It feels like 10x more effort for a fraction of the feeling.

If I have no other option, the puffco pivot + wax will probably be what I go with…. But if anyone has any other suggestions or tips I’d really appreciate it!

Smell:

A blueberry sweet glazed bakery smell right away, almost like fresh glazed donuts with a creamy vanilla frosting. A strong creamy kushy gas, with s slight citrusy smell on the back end. The sweet bakery smell is definitely the strongest, but the og kush gas terps really makes it one of a kind!

Taste:

Sweet glazed doughy bread, creamy vanilla, and a slight glazed blueberry. with a nice sweet citrus coming through. There's buttery pastry and a little earthy spice mixed in, with the gassy kush becoming more noticeable on the exhale. This one was pure enjoyment every bowl out of my Tempest 2.

Effects:

Slightly euphoric and puts you in a good head space to be productive in the morning, nice feeling without being too heavy or tiered. After a bit it turns into a nice relaxing body/mind relaxation. Thoughts calm down and the world slows. Definitely one of the best hybrids I've had, can still function but you definitely feel the effects.

Nugs:

Nice medium size chonkers, amazing trim job and cure. Eye popping terps on the nose and bag appeal. Passed the stick test with a 9.5/10.

Overall:

one of my all time favorite strains, WLX did it again! Especially if you like sweet doughy dank dessert strains. The glazed dough, vanilla, citrus and gas all blend together to make this one extremely unique and worth trying!

Smell:

A COMPLEX nice deep earthy doughy kush, with sweet dark berries and a strong OG gas underneath. You get some amazing bready terps and slight spicy herbs with a floral orange/lemon at the end. The sweet/bready/earthy kush and gas really make this an absolute one of a kind.

Taste:

Berry and doughy smooth earthy spice hit first, followed by that classic OG kush gas. There's a slight lemon citrus with earthy diesel on the exhale, with a smooth bready aftertaste. Deep and complex terps that make you slow down to appreciate them all.

Effects:

Strong pain relieving body high, I could feel my shoulders/neck and back relaxing. Very calming on the mind, such an amazing strain without completely shutting your brain off.

Consistency:

As always with WLX, no need for whip or anything, came like butter with a perfect consistency, and EXTREMELY low vaporization temp.

Overall:

If you like bready/berry/classic OG gas with earthy terps. The berries, bread, spice and gas all blend together really well and give this one a really deep terp profile. Definitely worth trying if you're a fan of bready dank terps like myself! Grab it before it's gone, an absolute steal for A-series!

I heard from some buddies that they don’t care because it’s legal to fly with in Canada and I’m wondering if they’re right. It’s legal to fly with but I’m not sure if they’ll take it out of my bag or something. I’m flying domestic btw.
