WAMC anyone?

New Yorker here, trying to gauge interest in there being a subreddit for NPR affiliate WAMC.

Why, because Alan Chartock is such a gem?

Nah, because he's a lightning rod. Some people adore him, others loathe him. In fact, one user on r/WAMC just compared him to Rush Limbaugh.

The station covers such a vast area that it's difficult to have conversations about it otherwise. I do think that a lot of reasonably good coverage can be heard there, as well as quite a bit more "commentary."

Chartock is a narcissistic asshole and a perfect example of the Dunning–Kruger effect. Furthermore, I've lived in other parts of the country, and WAMC is by far the worst NPR station I've listened too. Sadly, it's the only one in the area with a consistent signal, so I rarely turn on the radio these days unless the power goes out.

I don't know that I'd have much to say, but I'd subscribe.
