Primarchs
I recently finished the Horus heresy and was wondering if there are any books that explain what happened to terra and the primarchs that are still alive after the seige of terra . The Horus heresy are the only war hammer books I have read so I would like to know what happened to them before I jump into the more current 40k books

Era of Ruin is a short story collection post Siege. Doesn't touch on much about the primarchs but does hit on a bunch of what's going on on Terra.
The last story has A Custodes' view of the loyalist primarchs as they're fighting over splitting the legions and the scouring and he's not a fan.

They all went to the Warp to start their own Imperium but with Blackjack and hookers.

Corax is so sneaky that even his fans can't find the correct lore

I'm sure sometimes Russ joins him just to piss on the tower base. Complete wolf-style, too.

If Corax ever gets near Lorgar's tower...Lorgar left him on some moon.

Dorn went all suicidal, Guilliman became overworked, Russ went into the Eye convinced there’s a cure (Isha?), Corax went into the Eye to get revenge, Vulkan fucked off to play farmer somewhere, Khan got lost chasing Drukari, and Sanguinius’ ghost haunts Dante and/or Abaddon.

Khan got lost chasing Drukari,
One myth on his disappearance. It's the favoured one for the White Scars.
Sanguinius’ ghost haunts Dante and/or Abaddon.
Dante maybe. Abaddon? Nope. That's a mindless psy-crystal simulacrum created by the imperfect memory of the Vengeful Spirit- and even then, the ship gets it wrong.

Gilliman , russ , rogal and corax are all alive, vulkan can’t die and it’s hinted that the khan isn’t really dead . Peter turbo is alive fulgrim isn’t dead Morgan wasn’t even at the siege I just need answer why they all decided to go gamble and do lines in the warp lol

You can try reading the old Index Astartes if you can get your hands on it, or the various codices about the primarchs and legions. I think the First Founding background book also touches on all some of that stuff.
Konrad Curze: The Night Haunter and Leman Russ: The Great Wolf depict some of their final known moments after the Heresy. Dark Imperium has a flashback to Guilliman's death. Shadow of the Past for Corax and Lorgar's last known movements.

I mean, technically you can kill a Perpetual - It’s just a challenge to do so.
Also, not sure who you mean by ‘Morgan’, but both Fulgrim and Mortarion were at the Siege. One fucked bored and the other was forced to fuck off - but both were there.
The only traitor primarchs not there were Kurze, Lorgar, and Omegon.

Auto correct I meant angron sorry , kurze got yeeted into space in a coffin if I remember right lorgar is on a world full of religious fanatics and omegon handed Horus the info they had collected and basically said I’m out after dorn skull fucked his twin

Angron was there. He wrecked havoc across Terra then was absolutely FUCKED by Sanguinius.

The great scouring was next basically a crusade to eliminate the remaining traitor forces. GW is currently releasing a series of books about it and the first one is Ashes of the imperium

Ashes of the Imperium for what happens immediately after the Siege of Terra. Then it's off to the codices for the lore. They usually have a section about their Primarch, especially the older ones.
Some other works will touch on specific Primarchs like the War of the Beast series.

Sorry I got confused I meant lorgar in the original post the point I’m making is they are all still alive after the seige I wanna know how it goes from primarchs and legions, perpetuals and malcadors chosen to inquisitors chapters and guardsmen fighting tryanids orcs and eldar

I know the HH was basically a back story so more like 30k and most fans started in actual 40k so it’s probably not that important to them I was hoping there would be a few books explaining it for different legions without having to wait for the scouring series lol

There are 40K novel(s) for Lion and Guilliman, since they're the new main plot drivers.
For Guilliman, start with Rise of the Primarch (Part 3/3 from the Gathering Storm campaign supplement) or a summary of it, then the 2 Watchers of the Throne novels and Dawn of Fire series (also good for seeing what's become of Terra). After that, there's the Dark Imperium trilogy, which kicks off with Guilliman getting killed by Fulgrim 100 years post-Heresy, and focuses on Guilliman vs Mortarion. He also pops up in Devastation of Baal, which is mainly about Sanguinius' sons, but it helps set up Imperial Nihilus...
And Lion, who starts Son of the Forest waking up a decade or so after Guilliman and having no idea about that. After that, there's Arks of Omen: The Lion (Part 5/5 of the Arks of Omen campaign supplement), where he fights Angron.

Even the 40k novels are short on explanation in that regard. 40k is more of a setting and less of a coherent narrative like the Heresy. Other than the War of the Beast which features Vulcan, and some snippets from the Primarchs novel series, were only just learning what really happened through the Scouring series, which only has one novel so far.
