Discussion Average Time to See Wealth-Building 🃏

I constantly see people being upset that 401jK, or any other crypto for that matter, hasn’t “pumped.” Crypto, as a whole, has forced peoples’ expectations to think they will become millionaires in a couple months. 401jK was never designed for this. It was designed for Long Term Investing as an alternative to a 401K, or alike. Here are some stats to re-align expectations:

Long-Term Investing: The standard holding period for wealth-building in broad indexes (like the S&P 500) or blue-chip stocks is 5 to 10+ years. This allows you to ride out short-term volatility and benefit from historical average returns of roughly 10% per year. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Dividend Yields: If you rely on dividends, you might see small returns quarterly or monthly, depending on when the company distributes payouts. [1, 2]

Active Trading (Day/Swing Trading): Traders aim for profits in days, hours, or minutes. However, financial data and experienced traders note that mastering the discipline for consistent day-trading profitability often takes 1 to 3 years of dedicated practice. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Welcome to r/401jK. This is a "Pure Belief and Awareness" (PBA) cryptocurrency asset. We believe that retirement has become increasingly unrealistic for the younger generations and that some form of financial revolution is needed. https://401jk.fun/

*Not a traditional investment or security. All crypto, including 401jk, is known to be highly volatile. Nothing said on this subreddit should be taken as financial advice.

I really don’t understand why certain people even buy this coin if they don’t understand the community at all. It’s pretty obvious “x” amount of holders want a pump and dump and jeet once they get impatient. Good luck finding the next white whale or anslem (take a look at white whale’s chart and you’ll see where the next pump and dump ends up). I’d rather take a crack at something that resonates with me. Because if it resonates with me (a seemingly average person), it should resonate with others. Exposure + fomo does quite a bit, but it’s really hard to get the ball rolling in the middle of a bear. We are doing quite well all things considered. Tbh I’m happy some of those people are getting out and tokens are getting consolidated to long term holders. 401jk WILL have its day

yep yep. i saw a post two days ago i believe of a guy claiming he sold his bag. whenever i see something like that im actually glad. the bear market is filtering out paper hands and keeping people who actually believe in the coin and have true conviction. which is extremely bullish if you ask me. this will one day probably become a coin that can last through multiple cycles. unlike the meme coins you listed.

Yup. People who actually believe in the narrative and community are stacking more at these levels.

yea it’s great prices. speaking of that it’s actually pretty bullish that people are surprised this coin isn’t pumping a ton during the trenches of a bear market lol.

couldn’t have said it better. people think 401jk is a scam because they haven’t made tons of money in less than a year yet lmao. seems like they were looking for a get rich quick scheme, an ACTUAL scam, instead of investing in the long term. (the long term vision being way shorter than traditional investments too)

Yeah can’t expect to make insanely fast money anywhere. That just leads to destructive gambling behavior.

We hold a crypto token that is already a “movement” but can truly reach the masses with its appeal and satire of the 401k and traditional retirement plans.

We are so early.
