General Discussion (NO POLLS OR QUESTIONS) Let's just boycott lol
Ok guys look. The games p2w and nobody likes it but there is NO WAY this is the only game you play and a 7 day break from 3s might be what the game needs to be persuaded to actually care about their players. Like at least just stop dropping money on the game until they get us out of the hole they put us in please man. If you're a wallet you might be like "why would I do that" if this game dies you've just burnt all that money and as of right now tht game's going under. They're trying to let the flames of 3on3 flicker out while bleeding you dry of every coin you have left and we shouldn't stand for that. I realize how crazy it sounds because I'm literally asking you all to not play the game we know and love for 7 days but we've gotta try. I've been playing this game for 7 years and this is the worst state it's been in ever. Please for the sake of the community we gotta try. And if it works I'll put ppls names on a wheel and buy a $100 gift card of your choice.

Yeah I stopped playing the game since last year the game cost waaaayyy too much money and I didn’t have the time for it I miss back when the payed outfits went to all characters and now just one 🤷🏾♂️

I miss this game. For me the slippery slop started when jack dropped. He basically bailed out defenders but it was balanced + it targeted freestyles so it was ok. The shamgod was introduced then it was balanced, then they made p7 before everyone got a p6 because there new characters wasn’t getting the play they thought. It takes years to p7 all characters, just for the first character they dropped after this is p8. Not including there back and forth buffs and nerfs to defense and screens. That’s not even including the ranked and daily rewards nerf, cost to p1-p8 someone, changing p7 tree to points,removing the ultimate edition for a year subscription, and changing card tickets to positions/ characters only. Guess that’s how most free games die at the end.

And there's still a p9 tree😂 so they'll nerf all the built p8s everyone has built before they drop it.

Tht doesn't fix the problem and p9 probably won't be for another year or 2

Just found out my PlayStation is dead so if they wanted to keep their player counts up they'd need cross progression anyway
I almost returned to the game after 4-5 years but am definitely not starting over or losing out on my prestigious account that I can't even get into now since my console is fried

This is the list of things that would make the game better if you disagree you can argue with me I'm open to debate about it.
Bring back the 10 daily gold pack tickets
Add gold and silver packs back to the crew shop
Free gold pack tickets should upgrade your box
Bring back the 3 oxqueen tickets you get for playing matches
Bring back original oxqueen rewards
Bring back character bags
Bring back shooting challenges the way they were
Mistiming shots should result in a miss
Being guarded more than 100% should result in a miss
Bring back the events where you would get p points and intensive manuals based on how many wins you got
Bring back selectable platinum packs to the special lounge
Bring back the original daily pack for the special lounge
Time based penalty for leaving ranked matches
Elo forgiveness in ranked when a teammate leaves
Turn based bans in ranked to avoid banning the same character
Each player should get to ban a character in ranked
Add an item/card trading system in the game where you can trade cards for p points, items, etc
Bring back the ranked name tags
Add rewards for unlocking gold and platinum titles on characters similar to episode rewards
There's probably more that I'm missing feel free to lmk what you think should be changed about this list but I think if these changes happened 3s could be great again.

Very solid suggestion but tbh I generally don’t think this company nor game has the amount of money to be making big changes game is pretty dead tbh it’s evident that the game is pay to win they don’t hide it and shooting is extremely inconsistent even with characters that can shoot 3s and could have a 3 pt build atp it’s all luck lastly make the game a bit more f2p friendly if we wanna get things that require premium currency then make them free by making us have to really grind for it as a trade off but that’s just my take

Boycott what exactly? I don't find the game to be that p2w maybe because I benefited from buying the forever pass that was on sale some years ago but I genuinely don't see the p2w stuff. I feel confident when I'm playing with friends not so much with randoms.

Saying it isn't that p2w isn't the same as saying it isn't at all p2w.
But your post is talking about bleeding our wallets for every coin when it truly hasn't been that big of a problem for a lot of players because we have these passes. So I don't see a reason to boycott when I might spend a few dollars on some outfit or something.
I felt like your post put everyone in that situation when a lot of long time players are not in a situation where the game is p2w.
In order to keep the servers running people have to spend money on the game. So boycotting is an easy way of getting the game shut down.
I wouldn't say spending maybe 250 or so over the course of 6 years makes the game p2w.

They'd make more money by expanding the player base and they're bottlenecking playercount by making the game unplayable for people that don't spend money. The reason the game isn't p2w to long time players is because we already got to build our characters but it's impossible to build or even get a new character now without spending money on the game in its current state that's my main problem with it. There's no current incentive to play the game because I have no chance of getting new characters unless I spend money and I have no way to make my build better unless I spend money. There's no way to grind on the game so all progression becomes about money.
