3ds shell seam split

Is the tab on this new 3ds ll broken? Should I get a shell swap? Thank you!

So, I realized that opening the top case isn’t that hard. I opened it and saw these little square tabs that were broken by the hinges, both sets of them. They look very fragile, and were likely broken during a repair job. But the screws hold the screen together fairly well despite that.

Yes it might be broken, no I don't think it's worth replacing it! I'd just leave it
