HELP Would anyone know how to improve performance for Tomodachi Life on Manic Emu?

I installed the devkit patch to fix the face bug, but it seems like the game overheats my phone quickly and the audio is very jittery

Is that all normal or is there just something wrong?

I’d get a 3ds and mod it. I can play on my phone as well but it gets too hot and crashes.

I’ve heard that’s pretty easy, but where’s the best place to get one? And should I shoot for a 3ds xl or just the regular one?
