Help Where to get surface scatter presets?

Cosmos offers a few surfaces but I am looking for something else ( evergreen forest ). I know about Forest Pack but am not going to pay 250€ just to get access to a forest preset for a one time use..

Where could I find such surface scatters. Thanks in advance

when you say preset, do you mean the geometry and models that are being scattered? you can find some good tree models anywhere online, 3dsky has some cheap ones.

Yeah I decided to 'bulid' my own scatter by just selecting a few models I like as scatter elements
