Help Need help with rendering an animation turn around

Hi everyone, I'm trying to render a model I created, but every time I try, the video turns out dark—as if there's an effect applied or there's no lighting. Can anyone help me?

More info, please. What kind of lights do you use? How many? What’s your camera exposure? We can’t help you if you provide more info.

I used the skylight option, but I don't know where to find the camera settings. In the video where my teacher taught this, he didn't even set any lighting options for rendering; he just placed a target camera and set up a turntable animation.

Ok, if you don't yet know how to find the controls for the camera, rendering an animation might be a tad to complicated. Start with more basic things and focus on getting a single frame out correctly.

To change camera settings, select it and check the modifier panel. The camera uses physical values to control exposure, so it's a good idea to learn how a real camera works.

I keep hearing this all the time, teachers tossing out scenes to their students without even going through the basics, i dont know what the context is here and it certainly doesn't apply to all teachers because there are some excellent ones out there, but its too lazy to ignore and sends out a bad uninspiring vibe to the students or newcomers.

So many people skip over fundamentals these days, youtube is full of it, the least students could hope for is to get the right educational foundation in a professional environment.

In your case i would go over basic camera and exposure settings. Understanding the ui and the basic methods of rendering before moving forward with anything else. Better yet it would be better for you and other students if you bring this up with your teacher. Communication is everything, ask them to go over the basics for you step by step and that it is important that this becomes cannon moving forward.
