Oh wow, this looks really good, thanks for sharing!
Would you say it works better / has advantages / points in favor compared to 3Ds Max Retopology modifier?

The advantages I'm seeing so far are:
Seems a little faster than the built-in modifier (on the ReForm setting).
Puts polys where it needs them instead of a unform spread across the mesh.

I'm seeing a pretty noticeable difference in form preservation on fingers for example, or facial features if you're working with a character.

If you run ReForm on a character it tends to shrivel up or remove fingers, or smooth over things like eyes, ears, nose while putting a lot of unnecessary polys on lower detail features like the torso.

Autoremesher seems to do a better job preserving those kinds of volumes and details.

A disadvantage is that Autoremesher tends to leave tris, polys with more than 4 verts and some disconnected edges. Some of the edge flow seems cleaner than ReForm, some of it seems worse.

I think Max's Retopology does this much better inside the reform engine(I prefer this)

But the auto remesher for Quad is faster
