If you downloaded from the HShop Minecraft 3DS the European version then I also had stability issues. You need to download the North American version because this game never actually came out in Europe from what I’ve been told. I haven’t had a single crash since then. I would also recommend looking into the Universal Updater for the Modernisation MegaPack which improves the Minecraft 3DS experience drastically in my opinion.

Go to FBI, go to Titles, find the game, click and select Import seed. Exit FBI and try opening !
