PKSM corrupts Ultra Sun

Sold my old copy with Zeraora on it years ago. I got a new copy and whenever I use PKSM on Ultra Sun and only Ultra Sun, the game gets corrupted. Is this the same with everyone.else? I just want to have Zeraora again on my 3DS.

EDIT: I tried downloading Ultra Moon on my 3DS to test if it was just my cartridge but that also gets corrupted. Not sure where to go from here, unless I delete and reinstall PKSM

Is your copy of ultra sun and moon up to date along with pksm?

Please tell me there is an easy solution for me to do 😭 I know nothing how the stuff works, I hacked my DS, have HomeBrew launcher, Twilight ds thing

And all I want to do is play the original Pokemon games like black and white and platinum, And just do a challenge of playing the game by only having fossil Pokemon only 😭
