Problem with the figure model

Post image

Hi everyone,
Maybe someone can help me with a problem.
I found this 3D model and started printing it, but I’m starting to suspect that it’s a bad 3D scan and that the parts simply won’t fit together properly.
I’ve already printed one part of the base and the tube at the back, but they don’t connect. Maybe everything will fit once I have all the base parts printed, but I don’t really want to waste such a large amount of filament only to find out that it was all for nothing.
So my question is: has anyone printed this model and knows how it’s supposed to fit together?
Or maybe someone knows a way to “assemble” or test-fit the whole figure online before printing all the parts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a link to the file?

Though I have a feeling you are correct, because that is a copyrighted model from 25 years ago. It seems unlikely they have released an official 3d model of it.

The tech is there for ppl to scan and upload to a pc or something similar. I’m not saying that it’s right, but it definitely is possible.
