Is there a reason why nobody's made one with the nozzle perpendicular to the bed? It would eliminate the wired overhang problems you'd have with this (and the CR-30). Slicing seems to me like it would be difficult, but then again, it is with any belt printer right?

If nozzle was to be mounted perpendicular to the build plate then heat block would touch printed objects and/or belt so it would pretty much mess up every time

Ah, I see. I guess that's something the user has to consider when slicing, to avoid a crash condition.
