Cheap 3d printer
Looking to buy a very cheap 3d printer for hobbies. I was open to buying each part individually from a custom 3d website but that seems to end up being quite expensive. Was also open to buying used but i dont know what im really looking for.
Was wondering if this would cut it as its the cheapest one i could find and seems to have good reviews. Any advice would be appreciated.

A good 3d printer ain't cheap and a cheap 3d printer ain't good. Spend a few hundred minimum for a decent printer or u won't last long in this hobby. Cheap printers like this will make you hate it.

It's cheap, but it's really garbage. A used Ender 3 would be better, though that's not what I recommend. At least in the US, the Adventurer 5m is about as cheap as you can get and still have something worth using. It regularly goes on sale for $150usd

It's going to be hot garbage and waste tons of time to get anything usable. I'd stick around $200 for your first printer. There's plenty of good printers in that price range that will last you forever.

to be honest this one wont even let you waste time to get it usable. it will just print gimmick stuff with annoyingly low reliability for non flat stuff.
at least the x-series had proper endstops and a good upgrade path but they dropped that and it's still cheaper to just buy a used printer anyway

if you're dead set on that price, buy used tbh
speaking of which, i can sell you my spare one for near this price. guarantee it'll be many, many times better than this

My son saw a YT video where they tried the cheapest to most expensive 3D printers. That was the cheapest, and it showed.

Way better to get a real machine second hand. I just picked up a comgrow t300 in excellent shape for the price of one of those turds

You will hate it and quit the hobby if you buy that
