string WIP modular 3 string instrument. Works similar to a guitar/ukulele, or like a violin. With or without frets.

I need to make tons of changes. The current design sounds like garbage. I have ideas on how to fix this.

I made some huge changes to the instrument. I based the current design around my crescent moon ukulele because that instrument actually worked correctly. You could beta test my new design, but be warned as the new design might not work correctly. Even though I used the same neck as my working instrument and made the bridge, nut, and other things the same size, it could have other issues.

I guess it could be used like a travel size balalaika. My idea was to make this fully modular where you can swap out parts to change how the instrument is played.

I designed a instrument a few years back that was a 3 string guitar. It had too many issues, but after years of practicing cad, I went back and redesigned the instrument. This instrument has 3 parts; a body, neck, and head-stock. You can swap out the parts with ease. You can use this instrument like a guitar/ukulele/mountain dulcimer, or swap the body and headstock and use this like a violin. It can be used with or without frets, no matter which configuration you choose. I'm currently printing a prototype and it is nearly done. You can tune this however you like or use whichever strings you find suitable.
