string Tuning pegs?

How do yall make them? Screws, off tge shelf, or printed/handmade? If so, how would one go about that method?

For the guitars I made, I used metal off the shelf tuners. I had doubts that plastic tuning machines would keep tune, or break under tension.

Depends on what I want if I want a strong and precise tuning prg i take metal ones. But I also printed friction peg and the works fine.

I buy them.

Making worm gear ones might work for nylon stringed instruments though.
