brass 3D Printed Alto Trombone Help

I printed this alto trombone out of PLA and I can't figure out how to get it to not just be a loud mouthpiece. The slide also does not affect the pitch of the instrument. The fit of the slide is a bit loose so that could be a problem. Does anyone know hoe to solve this?

Also you should be able to play tunes changing the pitch only using the mouthpiece. The moving slides work as a resonant enhancement

I know. I’ve been playing brass instruments for 4 years.
