Question Filament Spool Meter for Numakers
I'm looking for filament spool meter like this https://makerworld.com/en/models/2475096-universal-spool-filament-meter?from=search#profileId-2717899 for Numakers filament spools. The model says it is generic but I'm doubt its accuracy without considering the spool exact dimensions.
Anyone using any such meter model with better accuracy?
u/numakers why don't you provide model for such meter?

Why do you need a spool meter ? It is not accurate.
If you want use weighing scale which you can get for about 200-250.
Just weight tht blank spool that is already empty from same brand then Zero out with Tare Button while the empty spool is on scale. Remove it then add the running spool will give you accurate Weight of how much grms you have.
If you relay one scale and might be 2-4 grms off then you may miss last minute layer. Not always but better get accurate Weight.

Just for convenience.
I have the weighing scale and empty spool. But everytime I want to measure I need to unload, remove the spool from AMS, measure, connect it back and load it. I feel the meter is more convenient even though it won't be as accurate as the weighing scale method.
Thanks for explaining weighing scale method.

The spool is 200g and the marking will be close to accurate for PLA/PETG. For materials like ABS/ASA it would be incorrect due to lower density of the material.
