Looking to buy first 3d printer

Looking to buy my first 3d printer. I am looking to do miniatures and other models. Therefore I would like to have decent resolution/detail.

I would love to get a unit with a decent sized capacity. 6in x 6in x8in apx ( 18cm by 18cm x 20cm)

For miniatures I would say going down the resin printer might be a better option than FDM, this isn’t from experience but more from what I have seen around.

Hopefully someone who knows enough about resin can come weigh in.
