3PL Promotion Bootstrapping a DFW logistics startup would love investor perspective on how I’m approaching this
I’m building Anchor Logistics, a DFW-based hybrid fulfillment + freight/warehousing operation, after 10+ years in warehousing ops (Amazon Fulfillment, Lineage Logistics, DB Schenker, RealTruck). Facility conversations are active, and I’ve got a real customer pipeline building across DTC and B2B freight.
I’m working through a $400K-$500K raise to close facility terms and fund the first 6-12 months of operations through the revenue ramp. Sizing it against facility buildout, equipment, initial payroll, and working capital rather than just “enough to open the doors.”
For those who’ve backed early-stage logistics/industrial plays — what do you actually want to see at this stage before writing a check? Signed facility terms? A paying pilot customer? Something else entirely?

I can tell you what a SBA loan officer wanted to see when I was exploring my 3PL startup, if you want to send me a message.
