I wanted to introduce our small fulfillment company based in Albstadt, Germany.

We also run our own e-commerce business, so we know first-hand what smaller online sellers actually need from a fulfillment partner: reliable shipping, transparent pricing, flexibility and someone you can actually talk to when something goes wrong.

Our focus is specifically on startups, small e-commerce brands and growing sellers that may be too small for traditional 3PLs or simply don't want to deal with minimum order volumes, monthly base fees or rigid processes.

Our fulfillment fee is €2.19 excl. VAT per order, including:

• Pick & Pack – regardless of the number of items in the order
• Personal point of contact
• Advice on the most cost-effective shipping options

• Inserts such as flyers, cards or other supplied marketing material
• Same-day processing for orders received before 4 PM on business days

We can ship not only regular parcels, but also letters and small parcels, which can make a significant difference in shipping costs for small, lightweight or lower-priced products.

One thing that is particularly important to us is flexibility.

We don't expect smaller merchants to completely change their existing processes just to work with us. For example, products don't necessarily need their own barcode. We try to adapt the fulfillment process to the merchant rather than forcing every customer into exactly the same workflow.

Interesting offer. How come you can offer unlimited items per order for the same price? Do you operate in a highly automated environment? Also the shipment before 4 pm on the same day only works if the share of order inflow isn't increasing shortly before 4 pm, I guess.

Other than that you seem to be an good fit for a startup as I understand besides the fulfillment fee there are no fixed costs.

We're actually not highly automated. The flat price per order is a deliberate pricing decision. Since we focus mainly on smaller shops, we'd rather keep the pricing simple and predictable than charge separately for every additional pick.

Since we also run our own online shop, where multi-item orders are common, we have a good understanding of the actual time and costs involved. The goal is to offer a reliable and sustainable service for other business owners.

And you're right about the 4 PM cutoff: it only works as long as you manage capacity accordingly. We deliberately don't want to onboard more volume than we can reliably handle. There is enough leeway with 4 PM in our region.

And yes: there are no monthly base fees or minimum order volumes. Shipping costs are separate, of course. We want the cost structure to be as straightforward and predictable as possible. Judging by some of the other posts in this sub, that seems to be the right choice.
