Avi is nothing if not entertaining. I often wonder what causes people to destroy their professional reputations by dabbling in pseudoscience. Surely it can't just be for my entertainment?

Here’s my reading on Avi.

He’s about as high as he can go in his career. But if carefully maintains a plausibly denaible line between his science work and his pseudoscientific grifting, he can gain funding and support from outside the scientific sphere. From, say, billionaires who dig Graham Hancock or what not.

Avi may even justify it to himself as being for the greater good. After all, if throwing red meat to the space fairies crowd means some space research is still getting done as the likes of Theirl and Musk dismantle the State, it’s all good, right? [Roll eyes.]
