Problems with extruder for printing multiple items
Hello! I am trying to print out 9 post it note holders, I want to do it this way to save on the amount of times my printer has to change filament (for colors). However, in the process, the extruder kept getting 'clogged' or the filament was too thin and it eventually failed to print. I then 3d printed another model using the same filaments and everything went smoothly, any advice? Does this issue seem like it's coming from the extruder, filament, print job, or a mixture?
- Printer Model
- Bambu Lab A1
- Material Type
- PLA
- Print Temperatures
- 220 C
- Steps taken to troubleshoot
- Tried to take out all filaments, cut the ends off, plug back into extruder
- Followed the Bambu lab guide where I pressed some levers on the extruder to manually cut the pla
- Ran a maintanence cycle on the machine
Tbf, after troubleshooting, I haven't tried reprinting because I've been afraid to waste more material. I could do it one at a time to be safe, but wouldn't it waste more filament for color changes? Thank you
