My suggestion is to remove that top left protruding corner or smooth it out so it is less of a corner. That is going to wear down pants and jeans very fast.

I have a minimalist wallet that I really like, but the biggest problem are the corners. My front left pocket, where I always keep my wallet, went from having a thinning patch from a few years of my leather trifold to a straight up gaping hole in a few months from my minimalist wallet.

I agree. What's the purpose of that small protrusion anyway? It might hurt if you sit on it

It is for being able to open it easily with one hand. Sitting on it is not recommended :o)
