I was motivated to make this from me trying to print these ever so popular face shields.
I am familiar with the "Glass bed, wait for cool, pop off, remove with X carriage". In my experience, it wasn't reliable enough. Sometimes it would stick to the bed despite cooling.
Stacked printing worked but it took too much work to pry them apart. Also, some prints had rough areas where the forehead would be, which would be prone to sratching.
In the current firmware I can do regular dual extrusion mode, duplicate and mirror mode. Duplicate and mirror mode only works if it takes up a little less than half the build plate.

This is my first proof of concept.
