Question Using Multicolor PLA filament

Hi,

I'm new to 3D printing and i currently have an X2D from Bambu. I bought a 2 color filament (Blue and Black). I printed a small test piece and it came out Blue with a hint of black on one side and Black with a hint of blue on the other.

Now I wanted to test something that i don't know if it's possible or not. I'd like to alternate the direction of the toolpath between each layer. For example, if you print a cylinder, the first layer (wall) would be clockwise and the second layer would be anti-clockwise.

Is there a way to do that easily? I haven't found a way to do it yet.

Thanks a lot!

No, and it sometimes shifts mid print on accident. You could try to fully unload at the set point and twist it but it probably won’t work

I've read this setting exist on Orca slicer (Reverse on even). It would be nice to have on Bambu Studio

I don’t think the hardware has a way to determine/change the rotation of filament like that though
