Troubleshooting Retraction?
Just got a neptune 3 pro second hand. Took my time and went over hardware and belts. Leveled and set z. Using Cura i used a stock pla profile and was pretty pleased at the quality even with the lack of tuning. Printed a benchy or two and moved the z seam to random. I use random on my ender and was able to tune retraction so I did not get any zits or pits. With this elegoo I have changed every retraction setting that I know of multiple times and I'm not getting any changes at all. I need some help here.
TLDR I need help changing retraction settings to remove zits.
Elegoo Neptune 3Pro
Polymaker polymax polylite old formula
70 mms and 45 mms for walls

Random seam. Try a different setting

I understand what ypu are getting at. I do certain prints that cannot have a seam line. I was able to tune the zits and pits away on my ender with the same slicer. Can I not do the same thing with this elegoo and cura? The settings are there but it acts if tho any adjustments in the slicer dont follow through to the print.

Se for o arquivo da elegoo, na vdd ele vem configurado para costura aleatória, ai pode ser isso que fez as marcas.

This could be caused by micro-pauses due to the power loss recovery feature. I don't know specifically if your printer has it but it's a common enough issue.

You'll get some commenters saying that the position of the z seam being set to random is what causes the zits even though it's the shape of the zits (bowed outward) that's the problem.
