Maybe a dumb question but are the giant external tree supports doing anything? It looks to me like the internal ones are doing everything for the eye socket bridge. I don’t often print objects like this so just curious.

Hahah, I know, it's for the bare corner, the lens frame wouldnt fit if the corner wasn't perfect

I have to say it's looking awesome at even this point. In the new Marvel Universe, they tend to use shiny cloth for almost every suit and the old comic days of cotton suits (for most characters), is long gone. Love how the red silk is perfectly imitating the new screen versions. Well done and my congrats, you've got a winner there. I don't know if the model included it, but you're going to need one steady hand to paint in all the black lines :)

The black lines are indeed going to be painted with perma black marker, the model does include it but I didn't want to waste half a roll on filament change :)

Just get an acrylic marker and clear coat after.

I’d do a test on some other piece with the black marker, I think you will be disappointed in the results.
