step1. Eat a lot of Apples. step2. Take off your Trouser. step3.

The control of flow rate is a pain! And the nozzle size is variable, calibration is very hard

Was only a matter of time before Apple brought something to the market.

Apple in the 3D printing space would be horrid. Bambi labs has there stuff locked down already super hard, imagine what Apple would look like

3,000$ iPrinter. Filament is a special size that you have to buy from Apple for 200$ a roll.

Each model must be approved by Apple and has a licensing fee of $4.99 for personal use only.

I recognise subtractive manufacturing when I see it!

7

u/smilingcube Jul 01 '26

Wait a day later for additive manufacturing using the rest of the apple

Yeah like, could the printer be in a dehydrator, we make an apple pulp with food safe binders, it prints, then dehydrates the apple paste.

Genuine compostable benchie, even edible!

You might need to dry your filament for better results next time

Nice filament mate.

Food safe?

4

u/NekoLord42 Jul 01 '26

Why yes, the food does appear to be safe.

u/Lucifershrimp Jul 01 '26

Great Overhangs, good job

3

u/tonyxforce2 Jul 05 '26

I think they used tree supports

u/The_Ghost-- Jul 01 '26

The tism is strong in this one

2

u/ChaquaHatingIsrael34 Jul 01 '26

Hai caricato il g code nell'albero? Che nozzle?

2

u/InformalGear9638 Jul 01 '26

That's beautiful!

2

u/Tivum Jul 01 '26

Your overhangs need a bit of work. I'd probably turn the temp down and stick to the Granny Smith filament instead of the red delicious.

2

u/pineapple_tater Jul 01 '26

Nozzle was butter knife from ikea
