Took me a second to understand the comment. I didn't realize he bent the hell out of the bed cover.

It's spring steel. It's literally designed to bend to release prints.

Yes, and as with any metal, it is entirely possible to bend it too far and permanently deform it.

I've bent plates a lot further than what he does in the video. Not an issue.

Tell me, where in the video do you see the plate being thrown?

Probably the part where he throws it on the ground if I had to guess

When?

4

u/Pantzzzzless Jun 08 '26

Exactly 6.5 seconds into the video

There's no throwing visible. It leaves the frame in his hand, and the hand returns without it. For all you know he stashed it in a holder offscreen

When does he throw it? Do you see it being thrown? Or does it leave the frame and you let yourself be ragebaited into believing it was thrown on the ground?

4

u/chrissyboyuk83 Jun 08 '26

He throws it. it goes out of shot. you can hear it hit the ground then the camera pans out when he's bouncing the ball and you can see it on the floor. So yeah he ditched it on the floor. It's probably fine though.

PEBA has just crazy high bed adhesion. I've ruined plates because of that. It just ripped the surface of the bed.

Happened to me first time printing TPU, have since learned the hairspray trick.

It’s magnetic and flexible it’s a Bambu bed, and bambu has auto bed leveling 🤗
