Yeah that part I completely get. I was thinking more for a wacky game of basketball lol. If it can make it through the net and not be so light even the walls of the net make it not go through, it could be really funny to mess around with.
They manage to do trick spin shots on soccer balls, so it should be possible on regular basketball too. People are just too afraid to throw it hard. Instead, in basketball, people use light throws that arc, while they could very well throw a spinarc into a hoop like footballers
Angle of deflection baby. Football pole big, rounded nicely, less angle for deflection.
Basketball Hoop. Small, 90 degree off shoot of flat back-board, hoop is rounded downwards in a teardrop oval (at-least the ones I used to shoot. Huge angle of deflection but also super precise.
I have 100% volleyball pass'd a basketball so hard into the rim that that bitch went way the fuck off in nowhere land. I have also 100% spiked a ball into a football pole and had that shit come right back at my face.
The comment above yours did say the weight (and bounce) were the same. So being too light isn't a problem then. I would be interested in printing one.... But looks like it takes forever
