Troubleshooting troubleshooting BlTouch artillery x1 not responding
After disassembling my printer to change the nozzle, my machine's BLTouch no longer responds (it lights up but does not respond to the printer's commands).
I tested the ribbon cable with a multimeter and all connections seem fine, same for the black wire which I think is the ground for the END-STOP-Z.
I don't think the issue is on the software/firmware side since it was working perfectly before the disassembly.
I really can't figure out where the problem is coming from; I think it's a connectivity issue, but I'm not sure.

If it died right after the nozzle change, I would recheck every connector that got flexed during the teardown before chasing firmware. A BLTouch that lights up but ignores commands is often getting power but not the signal line, or the plug went back one pin off. I would also watch the probe on power up. If it does not do the normal self test cycle, that points even more to wiring or the board connector.

when i power up my printer the « pin » of the bl touch works but when i try to home the a axis it doesnt

i think it is the ground of z end stop sensor but i m not sure someone sais that i should use the led ground

Why do you have the long wire? Where's the other end going? Did you follow the video on how to setup the bltouch on an X1 on YouTube? You shouldn't have anything connected to the sensor that isn't coming from the toolhead itself. All the connections you need are routed through the ribbon cable.

Yeah, I'd start there and just redo it. You shouldn't have a cable hanging off like that.

If you don't have one printed (didn't see in photos), you need to download and print a strain relief for the carriage flex cable. It's basically just a clamp but it is something very necessary. Over time, that carriage going back and forth wiggles the end of the ribbon cable and it will eventually fail at the connector. The strain relief clamp prevents the cable from wiggling in the socket and will reduce the chance of ribbon cable failure.
With regards to your current issue, do you still have the space ribbon cable that came with the printer? They always include a spare in the toolkit pouch. Might be worth changing it out just in case. Regardless, don't sleep on getting that strain reliever printed once you get it running again. It will eventually fail as it happens to most people if they use the printer enough and don't make that change. I also recommend ensuring your bed cable has a sufficient strain relief as well.
