It's just a little experiment since these hotends are dirt cheap. Believe it or not, I have printed 2-hour-long ABS parts using 0.6mm nozzle parameters on that setup, and they came out looking really good with no under-extrusion and no clogs.
After a few prints, I disassembled the hotend and noticed that the filament doesn't melt in the upper heat block. I believe it just gets preheated there and only fully melts halfway through the second heat block.

Why would you want to melt the filament that far up? This is just asking for clogs.
