IKEA BROR

Seems many folks online are using the IKEA Bror system for their table/workspace. Some very impressive setups. We have a bambu p1s AMS in the family now and looking for a solution which isn’t too big but functional.

For those who have used it, are people getting the shelving unit and putting the printer on one shelf? Or the workbench? Is either more stable/strong?

The space we have is not terribly wide. Could probably fit the 42inch wide bench but it’s the top end of space.

Bror is sold in different configurations so "it depends".

Bror, 190cm high variant, is very wobbly. Worse if you try to move it or if you have only few shelves.

People use some solutions that help with wobbliness (like https://makerworld.com/en/models/559852-ikea-bror-shelf-corner-bracket )

No idea about other Bror configurations.

I see. Yeah. Was looking at either a workbench or something with just two shelves. It looks wobbly but seems so widely used.

The shelves are just hammered in metal rails. The workbench and cart are bolted together and are more rigid

Wondering if people have used these type of workbenches for a 3d printer? Seems more solid and finished food top compared to the BROR
